Riccardo was wonderful -patient as I tried to figure out why the bank machines told me "card not authorized for international use" (not at all - just could get only $300 at a time). Beautiful appt; could (almost) hit the Medici Palace with a stone. Bakery below gave a wonderful aroma in the morning. Great A/C; "lavatrice", windows opened wide (turned off A/C for this) to look up and down street.

You don't want a car. Everything was so close.
