Masseria Murgia Albanese is a beautiful manor farmhouse dating back to the 18th century situated in the lovely Murgia valley, surrounded by fields, almond and cherry trees and deotted with trulli. The manor house built as summer residence contains the owners' apartments on the first floor were four bedrooms, are available for our B&B guests.
The bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms, are furnished with antiques. There is also a delightful dèpendance available to guests. The estate has retained its original traditional way of farming.
Murgia Albanese is well placed for visits to most of our beautiful region with its lovely historical towns such as Alberobello, Locorotondo, Cisternino, Martina Franca, Castellana Grotte, Mottola and Polignano a Mare. It is also only 45 minutes from Matera and is roughly equi-distant between the airports at Bari and Brindisi.
With romantic walks, balconies to sit on and relax, evening drinks with the owners - where one can sample local delicacies - you are sure to have all the ingredients for a perfect holiday.
Dépendence: The old agricultural house, restructured, with stone ceilings, is composed by a matrimonial bedroom whit bath, a little living room with a third bad a 2 bed-bedroom and a pretty veranda that offers a cool haven on even the hottest day.
White room: Bright matrimonial room with bed in beaten iron with deprived bath (with possibility to add a baby bed). The room has a door window on th great panoramic balcony of farm.
Suite Angeli: Ample matrimonial room with baht. The bed and the whole furnishing have been drawn and on realized on purpouse on the occasion of the marriage of the great-grandfather of the actual owners in 1907. Adjoining a to two beds bedroom. It is eventually possible to add a further bedin the matrimonial room.
