Apartment is in an Excellent Position for Exploring Rio's Stunning Beaches

Live like a "Carioca"! Lord Byron’s apartment is located nearby the astonishing Copacabana, Arpoador and Ipanema beaches. In a walking distance, you will be able to reach the best restaurants, shops, and spots in Rio! Easy access to public transportation.

The apartment is in an excellent position for exploring Rio's stunning beaches - only 3 blocks from Copacabana and 6 or 7 blocks from Ipanema; less than 10 minutes walk from either beach. The apartment is located on a quiet, tree lined street and has a gated entrance, so it is very secure.

There is a small shop immediately next to the apartment selling fruit, vegetables and groceries - there are also 2 larger mini-marts located within 2 blocks. There are also many takeaway's and restaurants located within a few blocks so buying food and drink locally is very convenient.

The bus stop for visiting Sugar Loaf or Christ the Redeemer is around 2 blocks away, and the Metro (subway) is around a 5 minute walk away. Use the Metro extensively as it's fast, not too busy and cool - a welcome retreat from the heat of Rio!

The apartment itself is perfect for your needs, it has either air-con or a ceiling fan in every room so it is always very comfortable, even in the heat of summer, and it is very clean and spacious.

The Space

Property facing the street with 74m ², situated in a charming and select building from the early 60s, strictly residential with only eleven apartments (1 apartment / flat), 2 blocks from Copacabana Beach, 5 blocks from Ipanema beach, one block from Metro Station General Osorio. Walking you have at your fingertips: restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, pharmacies, banks and many other services.

The apartment is clean, bright, airy and cozy, tastefully decorated. Composed of two separate entrances: living room, kitchen, laundry, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. 1 bedroom with double bed 1 bedroom with two single beds (sliding bed) 1 fold out couch in the living room. These rooms share a bathroom. SUITE 1 bedroom with 2 single beds (sliding bed) and a private bathroom.

Apartment is available for rental by the number of occupants. Cleaning and laundry can be negotiated, as well as bed linen and towels.

Occupation:

Ideal occupation – 6 people in real beds. All bedrooms equipped with ceiling fan and air conditioner. Maximum – 8 people in extra bed (in the living room fold out couch). Living room equipped with ceiling fan only.

Around it

The Lord Byron Apartment is located at Rua Souza Lima in Copacabana, near Ipanema, Arpoador and the Fort of Copacabana, where you find the Colombo Confectioners' café. In its neighborhood are the best options in town shops, bars and restaurants. The apartment is near the General Osorio square that Sunday receives its famous handicraft fair. Easy access to major city sights and public transportation.

Laundry, hairdressers, gyms, banks, cinemas, and others are available on feet. Easy access to many tourist attractions: Sugar Loaf, Corcovado, Central City and its Historic Buildings, Praia do Leblon, Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas.

Using subway to ride from the flat to Maracanã (football stadium) –

Embark: Metro General Osorio Station – take line 1 direction Uruguai.

Transfer (4 station) to line 2 at Botafogo Station

Take line 2 direction Pavuna. Leave at Maracanã Station.

Estimated trip time: 35 minutes.

Note: Energy is also included, considering the rational use of air conditioner devices (15Kw/day). Be rational while using water and energy!

All have air conditioning and ceiling fan, even the small dormitories, when contemplating two people provided enough comfort. Bathrooms: great showers indeed. Neighborhood: Very residential place, felt "at home". As I am neurotic about safety, this item was also a pleasant surprise. Everything is ok. Location: excellent, very close to the edge of Copacabana, Arpoador and Ipanema. Features such as supermarket, restaurants, drugstores, subway and bus stops practically "on the side" of the building. There is nothing I disliked, just inform guests who have car (which was not my case) that parking can be a weak point. Reception: we were very well received by you. I love your quiet and objective way of presenting the property, rules of coexistence, suggestions, tips and cautions. You have included maps of points of interest and how to walk around, almost made needless reaching a "tourist information" place! Thank you so much for your attention and friendliness. Wi fi com ótima velocidade. Quartos com camas bastante confortáveis. Como todos têm ar condicionado e ventilador de teto, mesmo os dormitórios pequenos, quando contemplando duas pessoas proporcionaram bastante conforto. Banheiros: chuveiros óottimmos. Vizinhança: como é um local totalmente residencial , me senti “em casa”. Como sou neurótica por segurança ratifico que neste item também tive agradável surpresa. Tudo ok. Localização: excelente, muito próximo à orla de Copacabana, Arpoador e Ipanema. Recursos como supermercado, restaurantes, farmácias, metrô e pontos de ônibus praticamente “ao lado” do prédio. Não tem o que não gostei, apenas coloco que para hóspedes que tenham carro ( que não foi o meu caso) a aquisição de local para guarda do automóvel pode ser um ponto fraco. O acolhimento: fomos muito bem recebidos por ti. Adorei a tua forma tranqüila e objetiva de apresentar o imóvel, regras de convivência, sugestões, dicas e cuidados. Como incluiste mapas de pontos turísticos e formas de deslocamento, praticamente tornou desnecessária a consulta aos guichês de “informações turísticas”!! The location is very good and safe neighborhood, quiet to walk on the streets (of course without ostentation as anywhere in the Rio de Janeiro), close to. the beaches of Ipanema and Copacabana and nearby 24h markets, pharmacies. The owner was very helpful, from the arrival day to departure day; she is very honest, complied with everything that was settled by email and even had some more tolerance with my friends. A localização é muito boa e o bairro seguro, tranquilo pra andar nas ruas (claro sem ostentação como em qualquer lugar do rio), apto próx. as praias de Copa e Ipanema e a mercados 24hs, farmácias. A proprietária foi muito atenciosa, desde a chegada no dia 01/03 á saída no dia 09/03 (carnaval), a mesma é muito honesta, cumpriu com tudo que foi combinado por e-mail e ainda teve uma tolerância a mais com meus amigos. It has all necessary equipment needed in a house, operating in good condition. It is close to the beaches of Copacabana, Arpoador and Ipanema. Commerce neighborhoods really close. The apartment is in an excellent position for exploring Rio's stunning beaches - only 3 blocks from Copacabana and 6 or 7 blocks from Ipanema; less than 10 minutes walk from either beach. The apartment is located on a quiet, tree lined street and has a gated entrance so is very secure. There are also many takeaway's and restaurants located within a few blocks so buying food and drink locally is very convenient. The bus stop for visiting Sugar Loaf or Christ the Redeemer is around 2 blocks away, and the Metro (subway) is around a 10 minute walk away. We used the Metro extensively as it's fast, not too busy and cool - a welcome retreat from the heat of Rio! Monica was a fantastic host and helped make our stay in Rio very easy. She has lots of information on great, local places to eat and was very helpful in assisting us plan our travel around the city. The apartment itself was perfect for our needs, it has either air-con or a ceiling fan in every room so was always very comfortable, even in the heat of summer, and is very clean and spacious. Our stay in Rio could not have been any better, and if you are planning on visiting this wonderful city then I highly recommend Monica's apartment.
