Misrah Simar is the newest residential complex in Gozo. It consists of twenty eight three-bedroom apartments and eight two-bedroom penthouses in two blocks on five floors and garages another two floors underneath.
Each block is serviced by an elevator each which can take clients from the lowest garage level to the top penthouse floors. The two blocks have a common entrance and are linked together through a large airy courtyard.
The complex has two outdoor swimming pools, a large pool and a children's shallow pool and a Jacuzzi. The pools are surrounded by different plants and small trees which make the complex truly unique and relaxing. There is sufficient deck area around these pools for sunbathing. The pools are open all year round and cleaned and serviced round the clock. There is also a pool shower.
The small garden full of indigenous plants and flowers graces the pool area. Here one can also find a small herbal garden. You are welcome to use any of these herbs for cooking.
The pool and garden are surrounded by cane trees which make the area private and exclusive. Pool furniture is available and provided by the respective apartment owners.
The common parts of the Misrah Simar Complex are spacious and landscaped with beautiful indeginous plants and flowers. The entire complex is built using local limestone slabs.
Common areas are cleaned regularly. The swimming pools and jacuzzi are cleaned and chlorinated round the clock Rubbish from each apartment is collected daily (except Sundays) when left in the designated area secured in appropriate bags.
Misrah Simar Complex is located in a quiet and very safe area of Qala yet It is only a few minutes’ walk from the village square. Qala Square is where most of the restaurants and bars are located. Besides the church, there is a mini-market, stationery shop and pharmacy. A library, police station and the offices of the council is only a short distance away.
Qala has its own dive centre and free pick-ups and drop downs are provided from and to the complex for our guests who would like to experience diving.
Bus stops are less than 5 minutes away from the complex linking Qala with Mgarr Harbour (from where a bus to Victoria deprts and arrives every 30 minutes and Qala to Victoria, Gozo's capital, via Nadur where the main bus terminus is located.
Żerniq
Żerniq is a luxury three bedroom apartment and is the flagship of this complex. This designer-finished apartment consists of a spacious sitting/dining room, the three bedrooms (one en-suite), separate kitchen, two bathrooms / shower and a large sun terrace.
The apartment can accommodate up to four adults, four children and one infant in three separate bedrooms (two double bedrooms and one children’s bedroom). The children's room has one single bed and three bunk beds. The single bed in the children's room can accommodate an adult if so required.
With its large terrace overlooking the pool area, Żerniq is the perfect indulging getaway to the island of Gozo. Tastefully furnished, this property is equipped with a state of the art entertainment system including internet TV, satellite and cable TV, Blu-ray home cinema system, WII console and games and over 700 free in-house movies. Not only is free Wi-Fi available throughout the apartment and pool area, but the apartment has its own desktop computer with internet facilities.
Because of it's location in between floors (Żerniq is on the first floor, level 1 of the complex and two stories above the pool which is in level -1) the apartment is quite cosy in winter and keeps cool during the warm summer months.
Apartment 6:
Apartment 6 has been furnished with modern furniture which creates an excellent paradox with the limestone finished walls, so typical of Gozo. The terrace is facing the pool and sunbathing common area with awesome country views, and provide the ultimate relaxation mood to sit back and enjoy some typical Gozitan delicacy, flushed down with award winning wines from the local vineyards.
The apartment has all the necessary equipment to make your stay comfortable and more. Cable TV, CD and DVD player, washing machine, fridge / freezer, internet WIFI broadband access, ceiling fans in ALL rooms, highchair, pool furniture and a beach parasol etc. All the rooms are equipped with air conditioners (cooling and heating) and linen and towels are also included.
This apartment has been finished and furnished as a second home and not as a rental apartment. Thus the have gone through every detail to ensure that anyone staying there for either a short period or even for a longer term has all the facilities to make that stay as comfortable as possible.
Double glazed windows throughout the apartment, blackout roller blinds for late mornings risers, mosquito netting on all the apertures, electric heater in the bathroom , air conditioning and ceiling fans in the bedrooms and living area , and Candy appliances throughout.
The axis of the apartment is actually the living area leading onto the terrace overlooking the pool area, Spacious and with a large leather L shaped sofa with a chaise long and with a large TV , DVD and cable TV decoder , it offers the right setting for relaxing and enjoying your deserved break.
The terrace is accessed from a large sliding door in the living area. Great for relaxing by day whilst enjoying the pool area atmosphere and the superb country views and excellent for an outdoor dinner in magical surroundings with near surreal silence.
Smoking is strictly prohibited INSIDE any room of the apartment but is allowed on the terrace. Kindly use the provided ashtray and care must be taken not to drop ash onto the patio of the apartment underneath.
Apartment 7:
Apartment 7 is a modern and tastefully furnished apartment. Conveniently located on the ground floor this apartment comes complete with its very own pool (billiard) table which makes it a unique property
.
It consists of two double bedrooms, one with en-suite bathroom, a bedroom with three bunk beds, main bathroom (shower instead of bath) with a washing machine, a fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, electric oven and gas hob, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, electric kettle and coffee maker.
The spacious living room includes a large leather sofa, TV with cable television and a real size pool (billiard) table for your enjoyment. There is an internal courtyard which is ideal for hanging washed clothes or for that occasional cigarette break. Please note that smoking is NOT allowed anywhere inside the apartment.
Apartment 7 is fully air-conditioned (fair use policy applies and there is free Wi-Fi throughout the apartment.
Pets are NOT allowed inside this apartment or anywhere in the common areas of the complex.
Towels, linen and carpets are included in this property. A cot and a high chair are also available free of charge if needed.
Prices include rent, use of shared amenities in complex. It also includes gas, water and electricity. There is a fair-use policy for air-conditioning use (see prices tab for more information)
Apartment 7 is normally only hired on weekly basis but occasionally shorter stays (minimum 3 nights) are possible.
Apartment 12:
Apartment 12 is a brand new modern apartment, designer finished with high-end luxury furnishings, finishing and appliances.
Converted from a three bedroom into a two bedroom, the apartment boasts a very large kitchen and an open living dining area, including a bar overlooking the dining table. There are two bedrooms, one with en-suite bathroom with shower and a main bathroom with bath. A baby cot can be instaslled in any of the bedrooms. The aprtment can accommodate up to four adults and an infant or a combination of adults, children and an infant.
The apartment is equipped with anything you might need for an enjoyable stay. The spacious living room includes a beautiful leather sofa, cable televion, free WiFi internet throughout, DVD player and radio. The huge kitchen is fully equipped with fridge / freezer, electric oven and gas hob, microwave, toaster, electric kettle and washing machine. The sitting room leads into a small balcony ovelooking the street with country views and can be used for that occasional cigarette break. PLease note that smoking is strinctly not allowed anywhere inside the apartment.
There is no air-conditioning in apartment 12. However, due to its location between floors, and with a couple of windows open, it is quite cool during summer and cosy in winter. Electric fans are freely available if required.

Apartment 20 is a modern and tastefully furnished apartment on the second floor of the complex, serviced with an elevator.
It consists of three double bedrooms (one with en-suite bathroom), a main bathroom, kitchen/dining/sitting room and a small balcony overlooking the street with country views.
The ensuite bathroom has a wc, wash hand basin and shower while the main bathroom has a wc, wash hand basin and bath.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge. freezer, washing machine, hob, oven, electric kettle and toaster.
Dining room caters for 8 persons and living room includes a 40" LCD with cable tv and dvd home cinema, leather sofa with recliner and chase long.
Towels, linen and carpets are included in this property.
Prices include rent, use of garage on the premises and use of shared amenities in complex. It also includes gas, water and 200 units of electricity. Over and above that electricity is charged at 0.25c per unit used.
Penthouse 26:
Penthouse 26 is a two bedroomed property on the very top of the complex serviced by one of two elevators. It is very tastefully furnished with modern furniture.
The penthouse consists of two double bedrooms, one of which is connected to the main bathroom, a kitchen/sitting/dining room, bathroom with toilet, wash hand basin and shower, and a large terrace with lovely country and distant sea views. It can take a maximum of four adults or a combination of adults and children and an infant in a crib in the main bedroom. A fifth person can be accommodated on a sofa-bed in the sitting room.
Penthouse 26 is fully airconditioned. It has WIFI throughout the property. The tv is connected via a tablet and you can watch various channels from around the world using special software. There is a dvd player amd some dvd's available.
THe kitchen is equipped with a fridge/freezer, toaster, oven and hobs and full utensils.
Terrace is equipped with outdoor furniture including sun loungers and table.

Penthouses 30 and 31:
Penthouses 30 and 31 are two seperate yet very similar adjoining penthouses on the very top of the Misrah Simar Complex overlooking the swimming pools garden and countryside. There are serviced by two elevators one on each side of the two blocks.
Both penthouses have two bright and cheerful bedrooms, each, one in each with an en-suite bathroom. Both penthouses have a seperate main bathroom each with a small shower/sauna, large terrace with magnificent country views and distant sea views. The specious kitchen in each penthouse is equipped with commodities including fridge/freezer, microwave, oven and hobs, juicer, washing machine and toaster and sanwich toaster. The dining room in each penthouse can take 6 persons, Each sitting room is furnished in comfortable modern furniture including a leather sofa-bed.
Both penthouses have a Flachblid TV with USB port for your favourite music and movies. THere is free internet access (Wifi is available throughout both penthouses), cable tv and a telephone (operated with phonecards). Both penthouses are fully air-conditioned.
Inside each large terrace, there is a charcoal grill BBQ overlooking the swimming pools and countryside. Outdoor furniture and sun loungers are also provided.
The large swimming pool with separate children's pool and Jacuzzi is available for all guests.
Both penthouses come with free use of garage in the complex.
For larger groups both penthouses can be joined together through an ajoining door.
