A feeling of Tropical Paradise begins the minute you step inside this home. This 5 bedroom 4 bath home has just under 4000 square feet of spacious living. Only about 10 minutes from everything including beaches, downtown, convention center, airport and the Seminole Hard Rock Casino. The best part about our home is the breathtaking back yard with lush exotic foliage surrounding the two rock waterfalls cascading into the heated spa and pool. A perfect place to relax and entertain all at the same time. Perfect for weddings, corporate events, parties, family reunions or just a vacation in the sun.

Why stay in a hotel when you could be enjoying the warm breezes and gently swaying palm trees right outside your door around our tropcal back yard and pool deck.

Waterfront in both front and back of home for privacy. Home is just under 4000 square feet under air. This 5 bedroom 4 bath home was re-built in 2007 with all upgraded features. Huge big screen TV in family room with surround sound both inside and around pool area. Large comfortable beds, Wireless internet, washer and dryer and many more conveniences.

Just minutes from everything including beaches, downtown, airport, cruise ships, casinos etc.

The best feature of this home is the breathtaking backyard with exotic foliage surrounding two rock waterfalls cascading into the heated spa and pool. The entire rear of the house overlooks this setting through new impact French doors and windows from every room. It is a great place to entertain and relax at the same time.

Perfect for family functions, weddings, and corporate events. As a ‘BONUS‘, we offer weekly renters a complimentary cruise on our motor yacht to cruise up the calm river and intra-coastal waterways past the mansions and estates of many celebrities. This is something that most people never get to see from the water and shows the true character of Fort Lauderdale’s charm.

Outdoor Features: Gas/Electric BBQ Grill: Stainless steel 5 burner grill. Large Deck/Patio with Lanai with tables and chairs for all guests staying at home.

View/Location: Waterfront, not Lake/Oceanfront. On isle with private 100′ dock on 100′ wide canal, navigable via New River (primary Fort Lauderdale waterway) through downtown, restaurants, amenities to intra-coastal waterway and ocean inlet.

Water View: Home is located with waterfront both in front and back for privacy.

It is well equipped, spacious conveniently located nearby the airport and most of all the owner is extremely helpful and flexible, we would definitely use it again. Ask about his yacht it is lovely and Mitch is a great captain.

The entire house is absolutely stunning....but the backyard simply takes your breath away. There is more than enough room for a large group, complete with two bathrooms that have poolside access making it easy for changes etc. We were lucky to have gorgeous weather so we ate every meal outside. The heated pool and hot tub were a bonus with everyone in our group. The large kitchen was well set-up to have two or more cooks "doing their thing". We loved the extra fridge space consisting of two pull-out refrigerated drawers in the island. But the highlight of our trip was definitely the amazing cruise than Mitch and Sue took us on. I was a little concerned about the length of this cruise since we had very small children, but no need to worry since Mitch's boat is even better equipped than his house. There was a bedroom and two bathrooms which we could use to put the little ones down. They very both for knowlegeable about the whole downtown Fort Lauderdale area, and then we docked and dined at a restaurant and completed our cruise at night with all the sights now lit up on our way home. It was breathtaking. Mitch and Sue answered all of my questions and concerns through the entire booking and renting process...and to top it off they gave me my damage deposit right on departure...first time ever this has happened to us. By : Meghan L. on April : 2011 We stayed for a week with 7 adults and 3 young children. The home is perfect for families. It is upscale and elegant, yet inviting. We spent most of our time out in the pool area. It was SO relaxing (much more so than the hotels we are accustomed to). We relaxed and lounged in the pool while listening to the backyard waterfall and the music from the outdoor speakers. The home has a subzero fridge, which keeps the beer ICE cold! The pictures make it seem like the canal is a lot closer to the pool, which was a concern for us with our young kids. However, there was a large grassy area between the two. Now for the amenities...the living room has a HUGE HD television with surround sound. If you move one of the patio tables, you can sit in the hot tub at night and watch the TV through the glass doors and hear it through the outdoor speakers. There is a piano and a keyboard that we enjoyed. The kitchen is a cook's dream. There are a ton of spices and basic ingredients that you don't find in other home rentals (The owners are great at not throwing away non-perishables from previous guests, like sugar, flour, ketchup, jelly, etc). Each bathroom had shampoo, a bar of soap, and enough toilet paper for the week. They have a 10 passenger van available for a very reasonable weekly rate.

We booked the house via the internet and got immediately very friendly response from the owners (Mitch and Sue). They provided a lot of information and offered an additional trip with the owner´s boat. We can honestly recommend this house, it was clean, comfortable and offered a lot of very nice features. The house is big enough for 10 people, the kitchen is very good and the pool includes a nice waterfall. The house is located in a very quiet neighbourhood, but you can easily access the highway. What we found very remarkable is that Mitch and Sue were reachable for us, whenever we needed something. They were extremely friendly and helpful. A real highlight was the trip with the boat, when you go to Ft Lauderdale you should see it by boat, it is so nice! When we would go to Ft Lauderdale again, we would immediately call Mitch to stay again in his house.

Mitch & Sue were gracious, flexible and helpful. The cruise was really nice & relaxing, every one in my group enjoyed this feature. The house was in a good location, nice neighbors also:). The cruise was a highlight of our trip, we had an amazing afternoon with our hosts. The pool and hot tub were perfect for days we wanted to relax at home, but the house was so centrally located that we were able to travel to area beaches and to Miami with relative ease. The accommodations were top notch and immaculately clean, and having a professional kitchen made cooking at home very easy. After our experience here, I would quickly recommend this house to anyone. Recommended for: Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities
