Centrally located but unbelievably quiet, this small 1-bedroom bungalow is a fun, cozy place to spend a few days. It's literally steps away from Whole Foods, Starbucks and a Subway and surrounded by fun, good-natured neighbors, with free parking.
This lovely bungalow was built in the 1920s and contains many original fixtures and touches. At certain times of year, flowers and roses adorn the facade. You'll love the kingsize bed and fast-heating shower.
My place looks and feels like a lovely, small house. It's got all the basics - living room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and walk-in closet. It has a small yard where I am trying to grow fresh vegetables and herbs. It shares only one wall with another unit.
My place was built almost 100 years ago. The floors are a bit slanted from various seismic activity over the past century, which to me adds to the charm. The kitchen boasts the original 1920s iceboxes as well as a charming breakfast nook where you can enjoy your meals while gazing out at the blue Los Angeles Sky.
