This Tinos Holiday Villa Rental, was found in ruins by an greek art-dealer from Athens and extensively restored in 2009 with great attention to every detail. Without exception, all furniture and artifacts are authentic and antique, and all modern amenities are inetionally reduced to the minimum to preserve the traditional feeling and offering its guests to experience real Greek Cycladic Lifestyle.The Traditional Tinos Rental House today presents itself with 260 sq.m. living space split on 2 levels, surrounded by 1350 sq.m. of garden.
The Tinoshouse Villa represents fully the Traditional Architecture of Tinos
To understand the value and beauty of this Villa in Greece, it is worth knowing how traditional houses were built. Originally, the upper floor was used as the living area with tiny bedrooms that often don't even fit a modern double bed. The kitchen was rudimentary with an open fireplace for cooking and without running water. The bathroom and toilet was outside! The basement was used for storage of hay and other animal feeds, wine and firewood.
In the process of restoring this Villa in Greece, the natural stone walls were repaired and ceilings and floors replaced using solid wood beams and natural stone. Entirely new electrics, central heating and water installations introduced bathrooms and toilets and running water to the kitchen. Apart from these elementary changes, the only modern appliances are found in the kitchen.
Upper Floor of the Tinos Villa Rental:
The upper floor of the villa consists of the living room and dining area, spacious kitchen, 1 bedroom with 1 single bed(+1 exra if needed) and a bathroom.
Lower Floor of the Tinos Villa Rental:
The lower floor of the villa consists of a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, one childrens bedrooms with 2 single beds, a bathroom and a laundry room.
Due to its traditional cycladic architecture, the Tinoshouse has plenty of arches, corridors, storage rooms and other open spaces that provide an ample atmosphere.
The basement is only partially below ground level, keeping the bedrooms cool during the summer, yet sunlight and gentle breezes enter through the small windows in every room.
Access to Tinoshouse in Loutra:
Like most Traditional Village Houses on Tinos, the villa is only accessible on foot as cars are not allowed inside the Loutra village. There is a small road that can be used to unload the car but the last 40 m need to be taken on foot and the car needs to be returned to the village square.
Suitability:
This Greek Traditional Villa is ideal for family vacation with children. The traffic free village and ample garden area allow your children to discover the surrounding on their own. Central heating and an open fireplace offer warmth on colder days.

Cleaning and changing of linen is twice per week.
