Luxury Guesthouse with 4 Rooms and 2 Suites in Hermoupolis, Syros
Welcome to Arion :
A small luxurious, six-room guest house perched on rocks, with a breathtaking view of the Aegean sea. A trip back into time where comfort is an art and the sophisticated style a way of life.

Four rooms each with its own unique style, dressed in cool cotton fabrics, pastel colours, furnished with canopy beds, as well as antiques and luxury furniture.
Suites :
Luxury, fine style, elegance and comfort. Two extra special suites, a small and a big two-room one- with luxurious furniture and refined personality. Having a breathtaking view of the sea,the balconies and the verandas are "flooded"in the Aegean light by day and during the night the sea meets the majestic full moon.
Facilities :
All rooms and suites are equipped with air-conditioners, LCD TVS, telephone, mini bars, mini safe and WI-FI (free internet access). The king size beds are covered with Frette cotton sheets and the bathrooms are equipped with Cannon towels and Blenheim bouquet products.

Syros:
Syros is the capital of the Cyclades islands. It's been a naval,industrial and cultural centre since 1826 when refugees from Chios and Psara settled there. In 1889 Ermoupolis, named after Hermes, the god of trade,was populated by 22,000 wealthy and cultured people, who managed to give their town an intellectual glow,unknown for the time. It got the fame of a living-museum town with hundreds of mansions,private and public as well as the Town Hall which was built by Ernest Schiller and the Apollo Theatre which is a replica of "The Scala" opera theatre of Milano.
Arion guest house is located in Vaporia area the district of the ship-owners at the back of the imposing Saint Nicholas church, a five minute walk from the town center. Ermoupolis is accessed by boat every day from and to Piraeus and Lavrio and also from the rest of Cyclades islands. It is also accessed by plane from and to Athens.

International Festival of the Aegean About 'Ninth Year In Ermoupolis 2013
All roads lead to Ermoupolis Syros where from 7 to July 21 within the Apollo Theatre International Festival of the Aegean.
Great artists from Greece but also from abroad will travel with melodies of Verdi, Beethoven, Mozart and Helen KARAINDROU on a musical journey under the stars as they say and the evening dedicated to Verdi closed and the music festival.

The International Festival of the Aegean, which takes place annually on the Island of Syros, Greece, was founded in 2005 by the Greek-American conductor Peter Tiboris. Now entering its eighth season, the Festival attracts world-class musicians, dancers, and actors, and has become a summer destination for lovers of the arts from Europe and beyond. In 2011, the Festival was named "Best cultural organization operating in the wider region of Greece" by the Awards Committee of Music Critics of the Union of Greek Theatre and Music Critics, based in Athens, Greece.

The view of the cyclades, the boats, the aegean sea. the area of the hotel was ideal for us, not in the town and yet only five minutes walk to reach it, very good breakfast, very friendly staff. Syros is an island of culture with many artists' exhibitions, even with an excellent open air cinema!
