Erytheias House is a very pretty L-shaped stone cottage situated on the same hillside as Hesperias House above Aegina Town. Erytheia was one of the Muses that tended the blissful gardens of Heperias. Erytheias House is nestled into the hillside with views of the surrounding countryside. The main living area is an open-plan space comprising a well-equipped kitchen, living room and dining area. The dining area with corner fire-place is delightfully decorated and furnished with original hand-thrown pottery from Sifnos and with many other artistic and authentic touches. The living area has comfortable in-built sofas with brightly coloured cushions. Next to this room is a bathroom with shower and WC. A hallway leads to the double bedroom which features a traditional-style platform bed. There is also a sofa for an extra guest. Doors lead from the bedroom to the patio.
The patio is shaded by a pergola where there is an outdoor dining table with in-built stone benches with colourful cushions from which to enjoy al-fresco dining under the sweet-smelling clouds of jasmine. From here guests can enjoy serene views over the surrounding countryside. Erytheias House is situated in very peaceful surroundings on a hillside above Aegina Town approximately 5 mins by car or 20 mins by foot. The vibrant town of Aegina with its marina, colourful markets with excellent fresh produce, artistic shops and great variety of restaurants, little traditional tavernas along the back streets, and its chic and trend quay-side cafes and bars is excellent for an evening out.
