Situated within 5 minutes walk of many of the hotels, restaurants, shops, diving centres and water sports. The Cottage is 15 minutes drive to Victoria, 20 minutes drive to the international airport.

Cruise ship - docks on Mahe about every 14 days
Around the island: The Blue Monster - This is the local bus. Bus stops are stretched all over the island and are marked with little huts and signs indicating the route and stop. For just a few rupees you can get around town on the Blue Monster.
Taxis - There is no shortage of available taxis to take you where you need to go.

We spent a couple of days at Georgina's. We enjoyed our stay a lot. Having breakfast on your own terrace looking at the waves of the Indian Ocean is was a wonderful way to start your morning.
Eddy (the manager) was a nice guy and really made an effort to ensure that we enjoy ourselves.

Our stay at Georgina's Cottage was extremely pleasant. Welcomed every morning by Eddy at breakfast and the friendly staff who were always available to provide advice on local activities. The ocean view room was simply the best in the venue as every morning you could sit on your balcony with a great view of Beau Vallon beach. Would highly consider staying there again.

We stayed for two nights at this Guesthouse in Mahé. Eddy the manager was very helpful giving us tips about siteseeing, beaches, restaurants, diving centers etc. We got a room at the first floor with a varanda facing Beau Vallon Beach. The bathroom seemed to have been recently renewed and was very large. The rest of the room was ok. The only downside was that we asked for a double room and got one with two twin beds put side by side, not a real double bed.
The location was excellent. The beach was just accross de street and it was close to all nice restaurants such as Boathouse, La Plage and Baobab pizzeria. It also had a bus stop at the corner. The breakfast was included and they served fresh fruits, toasts with butter and jelly and eggs.
I would definetely recommend this guesthouse.

My husband and I stayed at Georgina’s Cottage, a family run B&B, for five days of our honeymoon. In that occasion, we were offered a room with central terrace where to enjoy a bottle of fresh sparkling wine and the great Wednesday evening market food, very relaxing. The room had all comfort and the location of the B&B was perfect for us, just across the street we had the long stretch of Beau Vallon beach and a few meters from the bus stop to/from Victoria. Restaurants and shops at short walking distance. Eddy was very friendly with us, providing us with all help needed (what you can do in the island, where to go ...). I would recommend Georgina’s cottage to anyone.

Stayed there for 6 days in August and we had a great time. Many thanks to Eddy for his kindness and help. Good location, very clean, very good breakfasts. The best reataurant ever La Pearl Noir ( good prices) and Kaz Zanana in Victoria-near to the bus stop ( only lunches). Worth to see Anse Major ( wear good shoes and avoid the flying fox which can bite you), Sunset beach, Port Launay.

After going all over the island whilst we were there we realised that by pure chance we had picked the best spot. Yes there are prettier beaches but none with bars and resteraunts. The guest house was very clean and comfortable with fridge coffee making facilities crockery cutlery and a microwave to use. The breakfast was good and the staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. I would certainly recommend it. The island overall though I do find very very expensive and cannot see that it warrants it.

Me and my daughter stayed here on a diving holiday in December 2012. Eddy was most helpful and the breakfast service was great. We were on a diving trip and the room was spacious to cater for all the extra equipment we had.
