Starlight Restaurant & Bungalows in Lovina is a small hotel located in a quiet spot on the beach of Lovina (Banyualit), a short distance from the shops, restaurants and bars of central Lovina.

In the tropical garden Starlight Restaurant & Bungalows offers some nice two-person bungalows and a 4 person family bungalow with a second bedroom.

Starlight Restaurant & Bungalows also offers its guests a swimming pool, bale bengong (this is a traditional Balinese place to chill) and situated directly on the beachfront their restaurant where you can eat. On the beach, with two bale bengong, you have a pleasant stay in the shade.

Upon arrival at the hotel you will be welcomed with a delicious welcome drink.

THE RESTAURANT

The restaurant is situated directly at the beach with a beautiful sea view. The restaurant has a bar, an open kitchen and a large terrace and the reception of the resort.

Enjoying the view it is sometimes possible to spot dolphins and every now and then a whale

Lounge beds on the beach make life very agreeable and watching the famous and spectacular sunsets of Lovina, while you enjoy a delicious cocktail and an excellent dinner (on the beach) which will make your evening a memorable happening.

By : czechago on February : 2015 We wanted to stay near a friend who lives in Singaraja, yet still be on the beach. Luckily we booked Starlight. The bungalow, the food, the location, and the staff were all excellent. This is a perfect 'get away' place, it's quiet, serene, with beautifully tended gardens, a fine pool, beach and great food. Everyone on staff were friendly, outgoing and fun....I tried teaching salsa to one....with everyone joining in the laughing. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here.
By : Ken L on December : 2014 It was difficult to find a suitable place to stay in Lovina, places that looked OK on the surface turned out to have some major problems after reading the user reviews on Trip Advisor (a surefire way of quickly getting the real picture). Then I stumbled across Starlight Bungalows, everything looked good, no bad reviews, so we stayed there. It was just perfect for us, all individual bungalows (about 6 or 7) in a beautiful garden setting. The resto and relaxing areas are right on the sand, you can’t get closer to the beach. The staff were 100% friendly and helpful and booking online was easy. We had dinner and breakfast there . . no need to go searching elsewhere. We will be back.
By : YewMoon on December : 2014 Located on the black sands of Lovina Beach, it was quiet without being desolate. It was also not too far from the Lovina strip where many of the facilities were. The rooms are clean and spacious. Some of the fixtures could be better though, e.g. both the front and bathroom doors in my bungalow scraped the floor when they opened. This was perhaps an indication of hurried workmanship during construction. I do stress that it did not impede my enjoyment of the rooms or location. The food and drinks served at the restaurant were excellent. Also, having the acoustic band play during and after dinner was special. They sang their English songs well but I thought they were exquisite when they sang Indonesian and Balinese songs at my request. The band could perhaps do more of that.
By : Zsangyal on August : 2014 We stayed here for to nights only. Our previous hotel in Ubud put the bar quite high, but even compared to that this hotel was OK. The food is good, although not that cheap. They even have tables at the beach. From the rooms you could not see the see, but they have airco. The city center is a bit far (20-25 min walk), but the hotel provides free transfer and pickup service to Lovina.
By : Soihok on July : 2014 Lovina is a small beach town with limited touristy things to do. Starlight was This made up for this as it was lovely. Lovely gardens, clean rooms and a yummy restaurant. It was a great place to lounge around. I would definitely recommend.
By : Cloedtk on July : 2014 Excellent value for money! Quiet clean bungalows, small friendly hotel with only 10 rooms. Swimmingpool and nice romantic sunbeds on the beach. Best hotel in Bali so far! We walked along the whole Lovina beach and did not find any other hotel which is so good for this price, except maybe Frangipane.
By : Cherokee235 on June : 2014 How else do I say the same thing Starlight is a great place to go for lunch because it is light outside At night, you cannot see 'as much' The premises are maintained, the staff there remember my name, and the food is quite OK - it is clean there which puts it ahead of many other warungs/restaurants in Lovina If you are in Lovina, you shoud go there and spend an hour or two just eating and relaxing I have stayed there as well but not recently Their 'rooms' are separate buildings - they have 7 It's small and personal there Would I recommend it? Yes, of course I would Owner at Starlight Restaurant & Bungalows Thank you very much for the compliment. A guest who has been here many times and still is very happy and satisfied to come back is the confirmation that Starlight has a constant quality. Thanks again and we will see you again.

The surrounds were enchanting The hospitality was wonderful just like the service, the drinks and the food was of very good quality. The young lady who served our table was a delight with her beautifully spoken English and her beaming smile. By : Ozross on June : 2014 We went for a trip around the Island and came across this little gem, the staff were fantastic and very witty, the food tasted great and reasonably priced. The rooms had everything we needed and the bed was comfy. We went for a dip in the pool and that was nice and quiet and cool, very refreshing. We are heading back up to Lovina again soon for a few days and will definitely sty at the Starlight.

Beautifully made cocktails and wonderful meals, The restaurant has great service and delightful ambience right on the beach front and the evening we were there very good live entertainment. Just try the liquor coffees, they are to die for. And all very reasonably priced. Owner Response Thank you Derek B. for your review. After Starlight Restaurant & Bungalows has received the reservation request, Starlight Restaurant & Bungalows will inform you within 48 hours, by email, about the availability of the bungalow for the requested period of time. After your confirmation to rent, Starlight Restaurant & Bungalows will accept this request as a booking.

The booking is final as soon as the down payment of 50% of the total amount (within one week after confirmation or otherwise agreed by Starlight Restaurant & Bungalows) has been received by Starlight Restaurant & Bungalows through the Dutch bank account or by Paypal. After receiving the down payment of 50% Starlight Restaurant & Bungalows will send the voucher for your stay.

If payment is is not received in time, Starlight Restaurant & Bungalows may terminate the agreement and is free to continue to rent.

Bookings when made within three weeks before the start of the rental agreement, the total amount must be paid immediately. Starlight Restaurant & Bungalows will inform you by email. Payments are made by transfer to our Dutch bank account or to Paypal. Specifications will follow.

Cancelation Policy

Cancellation charges are due:

* Up to 3 weeks before the rental period 50% of the rent

* Within 3 weeks before the rental period, full rent. Starlight Restaurant & Bungalows recommends a travel and cancellation insurance.

* If guests of Starlight Restaurant & Bungalows are not arriving or are too late or leave before the end of the tenancy, there will be no refund.

* We advise you to close a travel insurance
