Welcome to villa Sahin Uzumlu, Kalkan has one of the best views of the Taurus mountains and the coast line of the famous Patara beach. Villa Sahin provides the perfect retreat with excellent facilities. Relax and enjoy the tranquillity and peaceful surroundings our villa boasts. Kalkan harbour is just a 10 minute ride away from us. Fully air-conditioned throughout. This spacious property offers: 3 Large bedrooms comfortably sleeping up to 8 guests. 1 double room with king size bed, 1 twin bedroom and a family room with king size bed and 2 singles.The private pool is 28 square metres with a non slip paved surrounding. This area also has table and chairs, sunbeds and a built in barbecue for daytime snacks or maybe a midnight feast! (pool cleaned and treated daily). The comfortable lounge overlooks the upstairs terrace area and provides you with the following facilities. A modern living room with a comfortable 3 piece suite, Satellite T.V, Hi-fi, Cd player, DVD player, telephone and wireless internet connection. Patio doors that lead to the main terrace which looks out over breath-taking views, mountains, sea and greenery. The terrace is fully furnished with table and chairs, parasol and sun loungers. A wonderful setting for lazy days and perfect evenings admiring the views and watching the stars over the beautiful village. Fully fitted kitchen that opens onto the terrace with cooking hob, cooker, oven, grill, microwave, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine (tea towels provided). Outside you can cool down and swim in your own private freshwater swimming pool. The BBQ area is set in the garden which is fully furnished with dining table, chairs and loungers. Umbrellas are provided for shade in the summer heat, the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee, read a book or simply chill-out. The villa is set in beautiful Mediterranean gardens with flowers, grapevines, olive, pomegranate and fig trees. A romantic setting for couples and perfect for family holidays.

SIGHTSEEING:
Within easy reach Uzumlu. are the ruins of the ancient Lycian capital of Xanthos, its port Patara, religious centre Letoon, and also Pinara. Xanthos was discovered in 1838 by the archaeologist Charles Fellows. Today a mixture of ruins from Roman, Lycian and Byzantine times including the Tomb of the Harpies, theatre, Neried monument and Inscribed pillar can be seen. At the holy lycian centre of Letoon there are 3 temples dedicated to Leto, Artemis and Apollo, gods of mythology. Patara is very close to uzumlu and famous as being the birth place of St Nicholas who has entered into Christian tradition as Father Christmas, and for having many interesting ruins. It was an important commercial centre and harbour during the 5th century. A day trip to Patara can include beautiful Patara beach, one of the best in Turkey and a perfect place to relax after a bit if sightseeing..
ACTIVITIES:
River Canoeing Enjoy a day canoeing on the Xanthos River near to Uzumlu. Experienced guides take you downstream through some beautiful scenery. A barbeque lunch is served along the way, and there is an opportunity for a revitalising mud bath before the tour finishes at beautiful Patara beach for a swim or Boat Trip. Relax on a day trip around the bays and Islands of Kalkan on a traditional Turkish Gullet and visit beautiful Kaputus beach, Snake Island , the blue cave and aquarium bay. Tours leave at 10.00 am from the harbour and return around 5.00 pm . There is plenty of time for swimming, and lunch is served on board. A very popular trip is to the ancient sunken city of Simena in the area of Kekova, one of the most beautiful areas of the Lycian/Turquoise coast. Water sports Jet skiing, water skiing, parasailing and banana boat rides are available from the beach clubs around the bay...
Hire a car or join a local excursion to visit one of the many historical ancient sites such as Patara, Xanthos, Tios, a trip to the Taurus mountains or the amazing Saklikent Gorge.
If sight seeing exploring and discovery is more your thing there are so many tourist attractions to visit around the Villa.

BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS Should you wish to enquire, do not hesitate to contact us. Booking can be made by email or telephone. A non-refundable 25% deposit is required to secure the booking. the balance remaining will be due 8 weeks prior to your holiday. Payment for your holiday can be made via bank transfer or PayPal. Check-In: 15:00 Check-Out: 11:00 These times can be flexible if no adjacent bookings FURTHER DETAILS Villa sahin is managed by a Hussein Emine... Huseyin and Emine Sahin run our family holiday home, and would always be on hand at any time should you need their assistance. They will show you around and welcome you on arrival to the Villa and handover the keys . Villa sahin receives a full cleaning service once per week, additional cleans/linen change can be arranged if required free. (arrange with Hussein on a day of your choice). The swimming pool is treated on a daily basis. by Hussein and emine will also water garden areas and remove and refuse from outside area. **Car Recommended** AIRPORT TRANSFERS and Car hire is arranged with a well established company in Kalkan called Adda Tours,we have been using the same company since 2007. All our guests have been more than happy with the service. The driver will meet you at the airport with a board clearly displaying your name on it, along with the name Villa Sahin All cars or minibuses (depending on numbers) are fully air-conditioned and your driver will make sure that you reach the villa safe and sound to enjoy your holiday in Uzumlu, Kalkan. Our transfer prices have been specially negotiated for our guests. Transfer time from Dalaman airport is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes to Villa sahin.
