Podere Montepozzo is a rustic house set in beautiful countryside near the bustling little market town of Acquapendente with its sophisticated boutiques, two theatres and a film house. The stunning Lake Bolsena is about 15 minutes drive, with its fascinating fortress towns of Bolsena, Marta, Montefiascone and Capo di Monte, charming beach cafes and restaurants, swimming and boating.
The immediate countryside is perfect for walking, cycling, horse riding and golf. The Monte Rufeno nature park is nearby and offers trecking, cycling and educational tours.
Further afield are the spa towns of southern Tuscany such as San Casciano dei Bagni and Bagni San Filippo. Within an hour are the amazing cities of Orvieto and Siena, and another hour or so gets you to Rome, Florence, Assisi, Lucca, Pisa, Bologna and more; perfect for day trips or mini tours. The Mediterranean is just an hours drive and there you can choose from charming seaside towns to buzzing resorts.
