	The Neighborhood
Many of the families in our neighborhood have lived here for generations.

	Getting Around
To walk into Putney, there is a sidewalk beginning at the Putney Central School (within 1/10 mile from the B&B) to the village. Thomas Transportation provides shuttle service to and from the major airports but must be reserved days in advance. Amtrak provides service to nearby Brattleboro. Bradley Int'l Airport in Hartford, Conn. is the most convenient airport to Putney, Vt.

	Other Things to Note
An 11-year-old cream tabby cat, Millicent, lives on the premises. Since Sept. 2014, an English Springer Spaniel, has also joined the family. His name is Jesse and loves to make new friends since he was rescued. (He does not bark or bite.) Ask the hostess for the password to the internet.
