Seaview Traditional Villa Among Olive Trees 500 Metres from Sandy Beach
Villa Manoutsio is a newly built (in 2007) and traditional decorated villa in a 17 acres agricultural property with olives trees.
Villa Manoutsio is approved by Greek Tourism Organization with license number: 1041K91002985101.
It offers great seaview from the 1st floor terraces and absolutely privacy. You can enjoy the beauty of nature, the sea and mountain view and the magic of quietness. The villa is surrounded by lawn where you can enjoy sunbathing,reading and relaxing. It has its own BBQ, a wood oven, and playground for children.
The villa consists of two bedrooms with double beds located on the Ist floor, one bathroom at the first floor and one at the ground floor and offers comfortable accommodation for 6 people. On the ground floor you can also find an dining room, a seating area with fareplace and a fully equipped kitchen with utensils and devices such as oven,microwave oven refrigerator, dishwasher, espresso mashine etc.
The bedrooms and the ground floor are air-conditioned, and each bathroom has wc and shower. Also, heater for unlimited hot water, WiFi internet,satellite TV,sound system, hair dryer, ironing board, washing machine are provided.
It is only 500 meters away from the sandy and well-organized Pelekanos Beach(part of Kavros beach which is one of the best sandy beaches of north Crete with 10 km length) The beach has sun beds and umbrellas and you can find an outside bar and a taverna that offers you traditional food, but if you prefer your privacy is sure that even in the high summer season, you can easily find a secluded spot on your own. Just 11 km away from the town of Rethymno and 35 km from the town of Chania, the location of our villa is ideal in order to explore the beauties of Crete.At Kavros area at 2.5 km you can find supermarkets, butcher shop with fresh local meat, pattiserrie as well as a gas station.
At the traditional village of Episkopi at 2 km you can find all kinds of shop as well.The Georgoupolis area at 5 km is a tourism town where you can find many restaurants, tavernas, cafes, bars and shopping.The town square is surrounded by outdoor seating used by tourists enjoying their drinks and ice creams. At Georgioupolis you can enjoy many leisure activities such us, fun park, children's play area with mini-golf, motor park, horse riding, cycling, adventure bike and express trips with tourist trains. At the station in Kavros and Georgioupolis you can make several trips with trains to Kournas Lake, into the mountains to visi the Cretan Villages, to the old city of Lappa and the waterfall springs of Argiroupoli.
The Kournas Lake is the only freshwater lake in on the Island of Crete. The waters are especially calm and visitors enjoy the peaceful setting.The many tavernas provide the perfect place to enjoy and drink or meal looking out over the lake. In the summer the lake shrinks slightly creating a temporary beach where visitors can sit on the sun loungers and relax in the sun or may rent a pedalo and spend time floating around the lake.

We've spent one week at this beautiful place. Villa is very comfortable and has everything that one can think about.
What is especially great is the location. It was so great to sit outside and enjoy the evenings - no city noises, olive trees around, fresh air and beautiful sky.
It is obvious that Melina and Stelios care about their guests and always make sure that everything is perfect. Thank you very much for everything!
Stelios, thank you for the recommendation of "Arkoudaina Garden", it was really the highlight of our stay!

Vous n'aurez pas de mauvaise surprise en louant la maison.
Elle est exactement telle que décrite et Stelios et Melina sont aux petits soins avec leurs hôtes.
Maison très confortable, au calme, à 300 m des plages de sable fin (propres et confortables), bons restaurants aux alentours.
Nous vous recommandons la location, sans aucun doute !

We enjoyed the two weeks in villa Manoutsio so much. It is a beautiful house and a perfect place for small children. Melina is such a good host, she presented during our stay more toys for the kids in the garden and when we arrived, she made us a delicious greek pastisio.
The house is technically in a very good condition and is cleaned every three days.
No surrounding neighbours, just beautiful countryside with olive trees, goats and sheep.
You need a car to go there and you have beautiful taverns and beaches just 500m away. Melinas recommendations for further taverns, e.g. in Episkopi are really good.
We strongly recommend the house, we will come back!

We can only highly recommend the house. We (2 families with 2 children, Age 5 and 2) stayed for two weeks. The house is spacious, well equipped with everything you need (even a washing mashine). It's very clean (a cleaning lady comes) and exactly as in the photos and description. It's calm but you can reach shops and restaurants in a short drive - a car is necessary. The kids loved to play in the garden and the terrace is nice for the meals. We made pizza in the stone oven and used the big grill too. There are toys for the beach, an air mattress etc.
Mostly we went to Episkopi beach which you can reach in only five minutes by car. It wasn't crowded, offered free sunbeds and parasols and it was clean. There is a nice taverna with a big garden and playground.
Melina and her husband are the best hosts you can image: Before our trip they always answered quickly to our mails. Because we arrived very late in the evenig Melina had prepared a traditional greek casserole for us and they had bought milk, cornflakes and fruits for breakfast. They always helped us with any questions we had.
We would definitely come back!

We spent two peaceful weeks in this charming home. The house is perfectly equipped and spotless and the wood oven in the garden is great for improving your pizza skills. We enjoyed our stay as much as our two kids ( 2 and 4 years) and would love to come back any time!

We had a wonderful week in October in this beautiful house in the countryside. We enjoyed the calm site in the olive groves. The house is featured very comfortable - everything is perfect ! We love to sit outside on the big terrace with the grill and the oven. Our son liked to play in the garden. Melina and her husband were wonderful hosts ! We definitely would like to come back ! Thank you for this unforgetable time !!!

Villa is very perfect and comfortable – we were two families with 2 small children (3 & 4 y.o.) and there was enough place for everyone including our guests which were visiting us during vacation. Outside, villa has olive and pomegranate trees garden with play yards, beach chairs and BBQ zone. Everything is in very good condition.
Inside villa has everything what you need for your holidays. Like in 5-Star Hotel, and even better! Kitchen is fully equipped including washing machine, coffee machine, dish washer and Melina prepared even stuff for it! So we didn’t need to care about it and buy anything extra. Every 3 days cleaning lady had come to house to clean and change linen.
The beach is just 10 minutes far from villa but it’s very peaceful and not crowded place with small restaurant.
To buy food – you need car or bicycle. But first week Melina and Stelios helped us with transferring us to shop and back. And after helped us with renting suitable car.
Melina and Stelios are really friendly, responsive, ready to make your holidays the best one! We really appreciate their hospitality and ones again - thank you for our holidays!

Nous avons passé 14 jours dans cette villa et avons beaucoup aimé l'endroit.
Toutes les promesses sont tenues et les photos sont fidèles à la réalité.
L'endroit est à 300 m de la plage (très longue, propre et avec peu de monde).
La maison est isolée, sans vis à vis.
Elle est très confortable et pourvue de tous les équipements.
Les propriétaires sont très gentils, très volontaires et très disponibles.
Nous vous recommandons cette adresse, sans fausse note.

Segnalo con entusiasmo questa bellissima sistemazione: la casa è ristrutturata con grande buon gusto, comoda e pulitissima. Le foto rendono bene l’idea e dal vivo è ancora più bella. Immersa nel verde, con un’ottima esposizione gode sia del panorama del mare sia delle bellissime montagne.
La qualità del sonno è eccellente (e di notte si vede una spettacolare Via Lattea).
Con altrettanto entusiasmo e grande piacere abbiamo apprezzato l’accoglienza veramente amichevole e disponibile di Melina e di tutta la sua famiglia. Buonissimi e graditissimi gli omaggi di calitsounia agli spinaci, mousakà e pastizio. Peraltro, immediatamente all’arrivo, ci sono stati offerti i calitsounia, l’acqua fresca in frigorifero, frutta, gelato (inoltre, vino e un ottimo rakì da gustare durante la settimana) senza dover uscire immediatamente alla ricerca di un supermarket.
Ottime e precise le indicazioni forniteci per le escursioni, gli acquisti e la bellissima spiaggia vicina alla casa. Non da ultimo, eccellente la posizione della casa per effettuare spettacolari gite sia verso il mare, il lago e le montagne.
Deliziosa una piccola colonia di gatti che vive nei dintorni e la facile visione di bellissimi rapaci.
Superfluo davvero aggiungere che desideriamo tornarci non appena possibile!

The villa is a very beautiful traditional house and the surrounding property is huge and wonderful. The house had all the amenities even high chair for our baby and playground! The beach was only 5 minutes on foot. The location of the house was ideal for excursions and the surrounding area had many attractions. Stelios and Melina were very hospitable and discreet, I would like to thank them for the wonderful vacation
