Welcome to the heart of the Gastein valley – and to our private mountain lodge Alpenglueckgastein. Our house is beautifully situated in a quiet area of Bad Hofgastein, the alpine center of the Gastein valley.
You are only a few minutes away from the town center with its world famous thermal baths, bars, restaurants, and a wide range of shopping opportunities. The Citybus stop, which takes you directly to the ski area, is also in the immediate vicinity (about 70 meters walk).
Due to the optimal south-west facing orientation of the house you can enjoy beautiful sunshine from morning to night and an excellent living quality. The apartment stands out for its fantastic panorama view of the Gastein mountains. It is nestled on the hillside, with the spacious south-west facing balcony offering a stunning view of the local mountains Graukogel, Stubnerkogel, and Schlossalm.

APARTMENT 2
With its modern and luxurious design including wood and stone elements our apartment is a tribute to the surrounding mountain world. The 120 square meter apartment is located on the middle and top floor in a quietly located Salzburg chalet.
The spacious living area and the adjoining open kitchen offer a fantastic view of the Gastein mountains. Enjoy the Alps panorama, with a flickering fire creating a cozy atmosphere in the background.
In the two bedrooms on the middle floor you can relax after your sporting activities in the Gastein valley. One of these bedrooms is equipped with a double bed (160 x 200 cm), while the other bedroom has a high bed in the alpine hut style. Your children will feel very comfortable here, but adults will also enjoy a quiet and relaxed sleep in the two high beds (90 x 200 cm each).
In our modern bathroom with a freestanding bathtub and a large rainfall shower you can indulge in relaxing moments. An additional and separate WC is also available.
The third bedroom on the upper level is also equipped with a double bed (160 x 200 cm). At night you can see the starry sky from your bed, enjoying the view from our large roof windows. An additional small round arch window creates a cozy “hayloft” atmosphere.
The south-west-facing balcony with its fantastic panorama view adjoins the living room so you can make the most of the sunshine. You can also bask in the morning sun on the smaller east-facing balcony that offers a direct view of the Gamskarkogel’s steep walls. The east-facing garden has a sunny terrace with a cozy lounge corner.
The ski depot in the basement offers plenty of room for skis and boots, and includes a ski boot dryer, drying facilities for ski and hiking clothes, and a workbench for ski, snowboard, and MTB equipment.
