I live in a 5 bedroom 3 bathroom detached property. It has split level from kitchen to dining room to coey snug room there is also stairs to 3, of the bedrooms with ensuite and 2are ground floor with main bathroom. My kitchen dining and living areas are open plan .
I live in the country which is very peaceful and idilic with plenty of nice safe walks to view the countryside which has farm animals and crops and turf cutting. I am 2minutes of the main road and 10minutes between towns of Letterkenny and Ballybofey . There is a bus service to both towns .
Letterkenny has plenty to offer in regards to shopping cinema leisure centres bowling bars and restaurants and theatre . There is always a bit of music and craic to be had.
We also have schools colleges and 3rd educational institutions and our hospital is also based there called LUH Letterkenny University Hospital. Letterkenny also leads us on the Wild Atlantic Way stopping off to view our pituresque countryside of beautiful beaches walks trails and hills to climb.
Im am less than an hour away from many beaches eg Rathmullen Portsalon Rossnowlagh Bundoran and im about 40 minutes from Glenveagh Castle and Mt . Errigal and the Poison Glen.
On the Ballybofey side we are half an hour from Donegal Town which is always a place to stop and ponder as its our capital it also boasts tourism and has a castle hotels bars and restaurants.
Its enroute for other towns such as Killybegs a fishing town with many cruise ships anchoring . Its part of the wild Atlantic Way and its on way to Sliabh League a travellers must see as it boasts highest cliffs in Euroupe.
On the other side out of Donegal you can visit Bundoran a surfers paradise. Sligo is about half an hour away and you can visit the Glencairn Waterfall and Lisadell house not to mention its a vibrant town with plenty to do and see and also has St.John point a beautiful beach and walk. Then on way home you can visit Mulagh mor beach which is just breathtaking and leads back into Donegal bay.
On the Letterkenny side im about 40 minutes from Glenveagh National Park and Mt Errigal an anazing climb on a good day with picturesque views. This also leads in to Gweedore which is very fluent in our Irish Language Gaeilge it leads on round into Dungloe where the Mary from Dungloe pagent is held every year and boasts the home of our very own Daniel O Donnell our Irish Country singer and also Enya from Clannad.
One can take the ferry across to Aran mor island or to Tory . This is also on the Wild Atlantic Way Route.
One can also visit Ards forrest park on into Cresslough and Dunfanaghy another breathtaking seaside town. Then one can cross over into doing Milford onto Portsalon and doing the Fanad drive an amazing experiennce where Donegal holds a stage of their International Rally every June.
