Key Features

We are a SELF-catering accommodation, "eat what you like, when you want it, where you like". There is a kitchenette in each suite which includes: induction cooktop, microwave and cooking dishes. A BBQ is also available on the patio of each suite for your personal use. Please be sure to turn the propane tank off under the BBQ after each use.

Check-in: is 3:00pm

Please text +1-519-829-8758 on the day of your arrival with your suite name for your room's access code. There will be a lock box outside your suite with your key inside.

Check-out: is 11:00am.

Please leave your key on the counter in your suite and we will collect it at time of check out.

Children: Inner Joy Getaways caters primarily to couples, we are an adult only getaway, no children please.

Pets: Inner Joy Getaways strives to keep our suites hypoallergenic. Therefore out of respect for all guests we do not allow pets.

Smoke/Vape/Cannabis - Free Facility: The Inner Joy Getaways property is proud to offer a smoke/vape/cannabis-free environment. Smoking/vaping/cannabis is not permitted in guest rooms, indoor or outdoor public areas, nor anywhere on our grounds where it may impact other guests or pose a fire hazard. There will be a charge of $550 fee charged to your credit card for any violations of our no smoking/vaping/cannabis policy . If the room is damaged or requires an excessive amount of cleaning; an additional cleaning fee will be assessed to your credit card at a minimum hourly rate of $95/hour and any damages will be assessed the value of repair or replacement. Our non-smoking policy includes all types of tobacco, as well as e-cigarettes, etc. There will be designated areas with proper disposal containers for your use please assist us in protecting the wildlife environment.

River: Use extreme caution near the river banks as some seasons there may be high water levels and strong currents. You are welcome to fish, as we are located on one of the best fly fishing spots in the area, provided you have a valid fishing license and bring your own equipment. Enter the river at your own risk.

Hot Tub and Outdoor Patio: It is our hope that you will take advantage of our beautiful outdoor spaces. For your safety, please refrain from using glasses or glass bottles outside of the suites, especially while in the hot tub. Fun, plastic beverage containers are available in your kitchenettes. Towels have been provided in your suites.

Please use the hot tub with caution. Enter and exit the hot tub carefully, with no jumping or diving. Please refrain from using soaps or oils in the hot tub. Elderly persons and pregnant women should consult their doctor before use. Anyone with heart disease, diabetes, high or low blood pressure or any serious illness should consult with a doctor before using any hot tub. Please replace the hot tub cover after each use.

We have provided two Smart TV's in each suite with Netflix available for your viewing pleasure.

Outdoor Spaces: Our property has many seating areas for our guests to relax and enjoy the grounds, we ask that you respect the personal patios of other guests. We have a walking trail through the Conservation area. For longer hiking trails the access point is a 5 min drive to the other side of the river. Please be aware of any "Private" signs located for the privacy of the owners and neighbours.

*Outdoor Games: We offer a grass tennis court, 6 hole putting/chipping green and various other lawn games for our guests enjoyment with limited equipment. Please return all equipment to the equipment shed when finished with the activity. Use of games is at your own risk.

Situated in Elora, 39 km from Cambridge, Inner Joy Getaways features a garden and free WiFi.

Each unit features a patio with a hot tub and BBQ, a fully equipped kitchenette with a microwave, a seating area with a comfortable chairs, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. A fridge, a induction cooktop and toaster are also available, as well as a kettle and a Keruig coffee machine.

Guests at Inner Joy Getaways can enjoy tennis on site (racquets available), various lawn activities, fishing all included in rental fee. *Fishing licenses are required by the province and you need to supply your own equipment.*

Kitchener is 25 km from the accommodation, while Guelph is 26 km from the property. The nearest airport is Region of Waterloo International Airport, 31 km from Inner Joy Getaways.

Our self-catering property is an one of a kind experience. Our accommodations are re-purposed shipping containers turned into beautiful suites.We are the perfect blend, of being away but also home for couples looking for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. Each suite has their own private patio complete with a a Sundance spa hot tub, BBQ, and a bistro set. When you enter each suite you will notice it has been a tastefully decorated to honour the towns they are named after. Relaxation is our goal enjoy a glass of wine in your own hot tub while watching a stunning sunset over the Grand River. No concrete jungle here conservation land is the backdrop to your windows. During the day take advantage of all the outdoor activities such as; the premium fly fishing location, a six hole golf putting green, and a rare grass tennis court and so much more. Plenty of outdoor sitting areas are available all around the property and enjoy the view from the silo turned gazebo tower overlooking the 7+ acres.

Just a short 4 minute drive to the picturesque village of Elora, ON. So much to do and see in Elora, shop at the local shops, enjoy fine dining, sit on a pub patio, watch the horse racing at the slots or visit the restored Elora Mill and Spa, zipline over the Elora Gorge. If you are still looking for more we are 12 minutes to Fergus, ON for the Fergus Scottish Festival and Templin Gardens and all the local shops and dining experiences this Scottish town has to offer. The St Jacob's Farmers Market is a 20 minutes drive, with the St Jacob's Country Playhouse to entertain you with live performances all year round. The world’s largest Maple Syrup Festival is just a short drive to Elmira, ON the local maple syrup treats will excite the kid in you. Festivals abound in the surrounding towns and cities, something for everyone to enjoy. Then when you are ready to relax, sit in your own private hot tub watching shooting stars overhead. Guest Access

We have transformed four shipping containers into beautiful suites overlooking the Grand River. The suite can comfortably sleep a couple. Each suite includes a bedroom bathroom kitchenette living space and patio. We have a grass tennis court for our guests to use. You are also welcome to enjoy many outdoor lawn games. We are minutes from the Elora Mill and Spa.

With a lovely view, on site activities, peaceful surroundings, great amenities, shops and restaurants in close by Elora, it has everything you need. The suites are really nicely decorated and extremely comfortable. Each suite also has its own hot tub which is a great touch. It was the perfect getaway!
By : Nathalie on August : 2019 Everything was amazing 11/10. The view from the hot tub was breathtaking. the bed was super comfy. everything was provided in the kitchen. *bottle of ?? The host were super nice, we came pretty late around 11-11:30 pm, and woke up around 10. We felt bad for not reaching here on time, but the host were so kind they allowed us to stay here until 5 pm that tho with no extra charges. Thanksss??

A deposit of the full stay plus tax is due at the time of booking. Payment can be made with Visa or MasterCard.

Cancelation Policy

For any cancellation, we must receive 7 days notice prior to your confirmed arrival for a refund of your deposit. If any cancellation is made within 7 days, your deposit will be non-refundable. For all other cancellations there is $20 non-refundable processing fee. Thank you for your understanding.
